The video biographies we are producing are PRIVATE, personalized family histories that trace the genealogy of relatives as far back as family members can document. Using old photos, restored documents, interviews of people the clients recommend, home video and information supplied by family historians, we are able to weave into the story long departed ancestors and include them in our modern-day private chronicle that is presented on a DVD, BlueRay disc, flash drive or personal (encrypted) internet portal.
The result is an enthralling and invaluable, private historical, video account that becomes a priceless family legacy. If you have seen the “Biography” program on the A & E Network then you have a good idea of the style of story we produce. The main difference is that our biographies are completely personalized, exalting in the virtues of each family. And, like the programs on A & E, we adhere to very high standards of video production.
Everyone who works for Atelier Video Family Biographies has, at one time, worked in television news or television production. Those high broadcast standards convert into the luxury, bespoke family history videos, tailored for each family, and developed from scratch. Families and Family Offices seek us out because they have heard from others (We rely on “word-of-mouth”) about the immeasurable “value” they received from commissioning our incredible progenitor stories. ANCESTOR is for you if you seek an abbreviated, but thorough, telling of your family story.
HERITAGE is the level suited for your HNW family if you want a full service, private chronicling of your family history. Nearly all of the amenities offered in the Legacy level are available in Heritage but in a shorter video. (Our Most Popular)
LEGACY is the top tier Concierge, limited to a select group of UHNW existing clients or family offices. Belonging to Legacy is almost the same as owning your very own video production company. Yet, because of the annual retainer, any new projects have benefits that far exceed the annual fee.
These are not home movies. We use professional, broadcast quality, digital, HD video equipment, and experienced television producers, technicians, videographers and editors. I personally write, narrate, and oversee the entire PRIVATE production, making sure that the biography — or family story — is of the highest technical and literary standards. Furthermore, we can produce these histories in any language.
Finally, and most importantly, everything we do from start to finish is kept in the strictest confidence. As a professional, practicing journalist, for 45-years, I understand and have always abided by the tenets of complete, absolute and unconditional — client confidentiality. Furthermore, all of our employees must sign confidentiality agreements before they can work for us.
